Deaf Dogs Rescue Australia wants to make sure deaf dogs have the same opportunities as all dogs. Deafness is not a disability that stops dogs from loving their families, being well trained or participating in normal activities. This awesome charity strives to ensure deaf dogs enjoy the same quality of life as hearing dogs, by rescuing deaf dogs, rehoming, fostering and training them (in all tasks great and small including sign language and visual cues), and offering support and advice to new and existing pawrents of deaf dogs.

Australian Working Dog Rescue saves working dog breeds from being euthanised in council pounds and shelters and finds them kind and loving new homes. Working dogs spend their lives giving back to Australia so AWDR are all about giving working dogs a new start – something all dogs deserve! They do their good work all across Australia.

Set up in 2009 by animal rights activists Peter and Janet Flann, Greyhound Rescue finds loving forever homes for greyhounds no longer wanted by the racing industry. Having found homes for close to 300 greyhounds in the past year alone, GR plays an important role in helping greyhounds discover new lives as cherished family pets. Greyhound Rescue relies largely on fundraising and donations to meet the high costs of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming these special animals, who are so deserving of a second chance and living the life that dogs are meant to live – as a loved member of the family.
